The Brand.

SolarWinds, a global technology brand known for supporting organisations with complex IT environments, partnered with Media Agency Group to run a multi format out of home campaign across Dubai’s most influential movement zones. The plan combined a premium digital billboard on Sheikh Zayed Road, programmatic digital screens inside Dubai International Airport Terminal 1 and static backlit posters at World Trade Centre Metro Station. The goal was to stay front of mind with the decision makers shaping IT spend across the UAE.

The Challenge.

SolarWinds set out to achieve one clear objective in Dubai. Be visible where business, travel and daily movement intersect.

To make that objective real, Media Agency Group needed to deliver three things at once.

  • Build instant authority in a premium business corridor

  • Reach international decision makers during high attention dwell time

  • Add commuter frequency that reinforces recall day after day

Our Strategy.

We built a location first plan that follows how professionals actually move around Dubai.

  • Sheikh Zayed Road for scale, stature and a strong first impression

  • DXB Terminal 1 for premium exposure in a concentrated environment

  • World Trade Centre Metro for routine repetition with bright, legible backlit formats

The Execution.

The SolarWinds rollout was designed to look consistent while each placement did a different job for the campaign.

Sheikh Zayed Road Digital Billboard

Sheikh Zayed Road is Dubai’s most recognisable outdoor stage. It is surrounded by global brands, landmarks and office districts, so appearing here signals confidence.

SolarWinds ran on a premium digital billboard located close to Dubai World Trade Centre, Museum of the Future and Emirates Towers. That surrounding context matters. People read the location as part of the message.

What made this site work in practice

  • High impact creative on a large format screen

  • Repeated exposure for commuters moving through peak business hours

  • Proximity to venues that host exhibitions and corporate events

DXB Terminal 1 Programmatic Digital Screens

Airport media works because it has dwell time. People are walking through corridors, waiting to board and looking up for information. That makes them more receptive to brand messaging than they are on a rushed social scroll.

SolarWinds used programmatic digital screens inside Dubai International Airport Terminal 1. The programmatic element supported controlled delivery while keeping the environment premium.

Reported delivery for this placement

  • Duration: 1 October to 31 October 2025

  • Total impressions delivered: 271,540

This sort of measured output is useful for mid level brands. It gives marketing teams a clear performance reference while still benefiting from the brand lift that premium environments deliver.

World Trade Centre Metro Backlit Posters

To build frequency, SolarWinds also appeared at World Trade Centre Metro Station using static backlit posters. This station connects offices, exhibition venues and commercial districts, so it is a natural touchpoint for working professionals.

Backlit formats do not need to be flashy to be effective. They win by being bright, consistent and easy to read.

Why we used backlit here

  • Strong legibility from early morning through late evening

  • A fixed presence that supports brand memory

  • A commuter environment with regular repeat footfall

Our Results.

This campaign worked because each format had a clear role and the message stayed consistent across the journey.

  • Sheikh Zayed Road delivered scale and authority

  • DXB Terminal 1 delivered premium international exposure with measurable impressions

  • World Trade Centre Metro delivered daily repetition among working professionals
